I am side-eying that scene where Damon first met Elena for the first time I am very sorry.

Who was that? That was not the season 1 era Damon I used to know and love. He was like a completely different person. When we first met Damon, he was brash and sarcastic and more than a little psycho. And I refuse to believe that he would  calm himself down just for a girl he just met who happened to look like the woman who broke his heart. I refuse.

And Elena… Sister girl… Why would you talk to some dude in a leather jacket in the middle of the night? He looked like a straight up drug dealer and you would just prance up to him and share your business?

That scene could have been written so much better than that. I felt like Julie just threw it in there for the hell of it. I don’t know why some people are rejoicing. That was… lord.
